Jim Krois, Photojournalist, with his daughter, Heather

I am a gray-haired grandpa who grew up in the midst of San Francisco’s hippy revolution and, after spending a year and a half traveling around the world in the late 70's, moved to Oregon.

In 2003 I received a bachelors degree in Photojournalism from Southern Oregon University with a minor in Applied Multimedia.

I am a member of the Oregon Poetry Association and I have published four chapbooks of poetry and written a book of creative non-fiction.

My photos have been displayed in several venues around Josephine and Jackson Counties in southern Oregon.

Currently, I live with my wife, Catherine, in Williams, Oregon, and work as a staff photographer for the Grants Pass Daily Courier.
